Located on the shores of Shark’s bay, this stunning Red Sea Resort has an abundance of facilities to suit families of all ages.
Only a short drive from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport this beachfront hotel is set amidst 30 acres of lush tropically landscaped grounds with over 2000 palm trees, fountains, water cascades and a 450m long private beach.
As you arrive at the hotel, you enter into the Grand Lobby, which certainly has the opulent feel of the Middle East. Lavishly coloured furnishings, over sized sofas, huge multi-coloured modern chandeliers adorn what is the highest level of a hotel set on a hillside.
As the property descends down to the beach, each level brings with it an array of restaurants, bars, spa, gymnasium, kids club, shopping mall, 24 hrs Business Centre(If you have the need) and even an open-air amphitheatre, which hosts some amazing evening entertainment.
Although the hotel has nearly 500 bedrooms spread amongst the main hotel, and royal villas, there is ample space for everyone and nowhere seems crowded, even the restaurants. Superb beach and poolside assistance is available to provide towels and sun beds, so you need not awake at sunrise to bag a lounger!
All of the bedrooms are beautifully furnished and equipped with all the mod cons that you would expect in of a 5* property and if you have any special needs then the hotel is more than happy to cater for these.
The range of dining facilities is exceptional, but not so huge that you are spoilt for choice. The main Ramses restaurant serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, but why not enjoy afternoon tea, Egyptian style in Isis, Italian pizzas and fresh pasta by the pool in Mezzaluna, East meets West cuisine at the Silk Road, with its 3 show kitchens where you can observe the chefs creating your dishes. Down on the beach you can pick up lite bites throughout the day and the children are even catered for with their own fully supervised Kids Café (ages 4 to 12). To watch the sun set, for pre dinner cocktails or post dinner shishas then try the Sky Lounge where cushions are scattered everywhere and the ambience is electric. However, for those who like a livelier atmosphere, then do not worry as the hotel has its own nights club, Pulse, where the resident DJ will keep you dancing until the early hours.
What trip to Egypt would be complete without a visit to the pyramids? The Hotel will happily arrange for you to fly from Sharm El Sheikh to Cairo for the day and explore the pyramids, sphinx, museum and even see how local papyrus and perfume oils are made.
If you love to snorkel or dive then there are few places in the world where this is better. Snorkels can be hired from the hotel and you can explore the coastline around the hotel but for the best diving and snorkelling then its best to book a trip to one of the local marine parks (Ras Mohammed Marine Park). You can even learn to dive here and prices are extremely favourable compared with other international dive centres.
Overall, for the range of facilities and competitive prices, this is an extremely attractive destination for families.
